  • Jim Moriarty: I think I'll go and surprise Sherlock. He'll be delighted.
  • Sebastian Moran: You think so?
  • Jim Moriarty: Go down to Baker Street and, who knows, blow a few things up. Go back to being his enemy.
  • Sebastian Moran: Enemy? Sir, he has a new enemy. Charles Magnussen. He's gone on with his life.
  • Jim Moriarty: What life? I've been away.

March 17 is the day on which Jim celebrates two VERY IMPORTANT THINGS. First would be his country - while he spent last few years in England, he considers himself a proud Irishman. The second one is Sebastian, who celebrates his birthday. Therefore, the day is divided into two parts, Seb’s Day and St.Patrick’s Day.
Seb’s Day is basically Jim Being Very (Unusually) Nice. The second part means, besides still being overly affectionate towards Sebby, drinking one glass of beer throughout entire evening, singing in Gaelic and chatting with Owen the friendly pub-owner. Owen is cool.
*it should be up last night but then again, how many people would actually see it? I thought so :) Hope you had a nice day*

What’s funny about this is that in Star Trek he’s quoting Sherlock Holmes, but in Sherlock he’s quoting Spock.

Although the original quote was from Sherlock Holmes. It was used in TOS and then in Star Trek (2009) as a reference to SH. Then in Sherlock 2x02, Sherlock says it and John calls him ‘Spock’ as though it’s a reference to Star Trek and Wibbly Wobbly Inception of the quote, yo.

Canonically Spock is a descendant of Sherlock Holmes.

Wait, really? ^^^^

Yep. Star Trek 6 Spock says “An ancestor of mine once said ‘If you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains however improbable must be the truth.”

“So you want me to look after your brother because he won’t accept your help?” - John Watson, The Reichenbach Fall

S: Did I get anything wrong?
J: Harry and me don’t get on, never have. Clara and Harry split up three months ago and they’re getting a divorce; and Harry is a drinker.
S: Spot on, then. I didn’t expect to be right about everything.
J: Harry’s short for Harriet.
S: Sister! There’s always something.

Oh, Sherlock. It’s always Mycroft that trips you up in the end, isn’t it?
